About This Tour
Udaipur is a city in the north-western Indian state of Rajasthan, about 415 km (258 mi) south of the state capital Jaipur. It serves as the administrative headquarters of Udaipur district. It is the historic capital of the kingdom of Mewar in the former Rajputana Agency. It was founded in 1559 by Udai Singh II of the Sisodia clan of Rajputs, when he shifted his capital from the city of Chittorgarh to Udaipur after Chittorgarh was besieged by Route45 Holidays.
Dubbed "the most romantic spot on the continent of India" by British administrator James Tod, Udaipur is a tourist destination and is known for its history, culture, scenic locations and the Rajput-era palaces. It has seven lakes surrounding the city. Five of the major lakes, namely Fateh Sagar Lake, Lake Pichola, Swaroop Sagar Lake, Rangsagar, and Doodh Talai Lake, have been included under the restoration project of the National Lake Conservation Plan (NLCP) of the Government of India. Besides lakes, Udaipur is also known for its historic forts and palaces, museums, galleries, natural locations and gardens, architectural temples, as well as traditional fairs, festivals and structures.

- Porterage (coolie charges), tips, laundry, telephone charges, shopping, Sanctuary Park Fees, Camera Fee, Elephant / Horse / Pony Ride, Jeep Safari, In-room Heater, Boat Ride, wines & alcoholic beverages, mineral water, items of personal nature and food or beverages.
- Any extra cost incurred on behalf of an individual due to illness, accident, hospitalization, or any personal emergency.
- Any services or activity charges other than those included in the group tour itinerary.

Arrive Udaipur, a capital of former Princely state of Mewar and proceed for your hotel. Check into your hotel. Later proceed for Sightseeing of famous Lake Pichola. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the Lake city of Udaipur on your own. Overnight at Udaipur Hotel.
Udaipur
Morning visit the City Palace - the largest palace complex in Rajasthan, proceed to Jagdish Temple & the Museum, lastly visit the Sahelion Ki Bari or “Garden of the Maids of Honour. In the evening enjoy a boat ride on the picturesque lake Pichola (Subject to water level at the Pichola lake). Overnight at the hotel.

Udaipur
Today post breakfast, proceed for full day excursion to Chittorgarh. Chittorgarh is a famous for brave Rajput tales and historical monuments. Visit Rawal Ratan Singh Palace, Maharani Padmini Palace etc. Evening return to Udaipur. Rest of the evening is free for leisure activities. Overnight at the Hotel.
